Students at "Naria" High School in the Gaza Strip went on a trip and when they returned they were surprised to find Palestinian flags and Free Palestine inscriptions in the classroom. The teacher reported the incident to the school administration and in response they contacted the Negev Fields Council which filed a complaint with the police and opened an investigation.

The school emphasized that "It is clear that such an event can cause stress and therefore it is important to note that we must maintain a school routine for the sake of the girls' resilience while taking the necessary security measures"
