Journalists of the British media network BBC liked anti-Semitic tweets, including unfounded conspiracy theories. BBC chiefs said they were "urgently investigating the matter", but did not specify what significant action had been taken against the journalists.
Sources close to the corporation said that despite the promises to maintain impartiality on social networks, in practice senior managers did not take any action regarding biases against Israel. The BBC's senior management is unable or unwilling to control the social media output of its journalists and presenters, sources said.
