Bristol Myers Squibb and the Civil Association for People with Psoriasis (AEPSO) present an initiative focused on patients to talk about their needs and those of their environment. The initiative also aims to offer tools to patients and family members to be able to cope with the disease and have a better quality of life.

It highlights the importance of recognizing the symptoms and going to a specialist doctor for an early diagnosis. Early diagnosis along with appropriate treatment helps the lesions disappear and control the progression of the disease. It is important to clarify that treatments can reduce the signs of the Disease, but they do not cure it. “Putting this into words allows us to re-value the reality of people with psoriasis,” said Matías Turas, a dermatologist. The launch of the initiative is scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 14. For more information, visit www.mypsoriasis.org or go to AEPSO's website.
