Daughters of abducted families were handcuffed within the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee. The women fortified themselves in the debate and called for a hostage deal and the replacement of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
They also protested against the expected departure of the Knesset members for recess next week: "We will not leave here" MK Edelstein, chairman of the committee, closed the discussion in helplessness. "From now on, it's not just the families. Everyone is abducted and Netanyahu's abductees. We are not interested in who is allowed to speak here and who is not," they said.
