[HIGHLIGHTS] "Not even in the Videla dictatorship": Venezuela's energetic rejection of the police invasion of the Mexican embassy in Ecuador

Venezuela condemned the surprise operation to arrest former Vice President Jorge Glas and spoke of "a time of terror" in the country. The Venezuelan Government also compares Ecuador with the "criminal regime of Israel" for the bombing of the Iranian embassy in Syria.

Cuba and Honduras joined the claim against the government of Daniel Noboa. Mexico suspended diplomatic relations with the Government of Ecuador this Friday, as ordered by Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The Mexican president made that decision after the Ecuadorian security forces stormed the Embassy in Quito.
