Israeli citizen living in the Negev was charged with aiding the enemy in war and membership in a terrorist organization. 26-year-old accused Jumaa Abu Ganima crossed from Al-Etsam into the Gaza Strip, joined the military wing of Hamas and conducted training with them.

"You observed Israel and agreed to enlist in the IDF to pass information to the enemy," the indictment states. In 2021 he was imprisoned for two years by Hamas for not complying with the restrictions imposed on him.
