Feinkost Langer in Nuremberg-Mögeldorf will close on 30 June. Owner Ulrike Langer, 69, has been running the delicatessen for 43 years.

The shop sells handmade delicacies and specially refined cheese. Langer's art is to wash and refine raw milk cheese with salt water or alcohol. The cheese matures for weeks, sometimes even years, in the sandstone cellar in the property next door, which is perfect for refining cheese.
