"The Corrientes cannot be tamed with blows", the radical governor's harsh warning to the Casa Rosada due to the cut in funds. Gustavo Valdés complained because the Government did not send the funds from the pension fund that the Nation owes to the province.
"We estimate that they owe us about one hundred billion," said the provincial leader. The Government denied having cut funds to 13 provinces to which it had to send items due to an ANSES debt with the provincial pension funds.
