Hundreds attended the funeral of Sergeant Maoz Morel on Mount Herzl. Maoz, a paratrooper fighter, was wounded about a week ago in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip and was pronounced dead yesterday.
"No one thinks of you without your big smile, we met a lot of soldiers you took care of before you were injured. I'm not surprised that this is what you did before you fell," his mother said. "Maouz was such a strong and sporty boy, in photoball, he was a kind of quiet force, the family," said his father Eitan.
