Saxony's Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) occasionally offends even in his own party. He presents proposals on asylum policy, talks about the AfD and about the supply of fighter jets for Ukraine's self-defense.

He sees lack of openness behind AfD's strengthening – and cites a positive example in Bavaria as an AfD that has become the strongest force in the country. He also has doubts about the Russia sanctions: "It's hard to compensate" for Bakhmut losses.
