On Thursday morning (11 May), a terrible act occurred at a Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen near Stuttgart. A man entered a production hall of the company in the early morning and fired shots at several people.
Two men aged 44 were fatally injured. The alleged shooter is a 53-year-old lone perpetrator. It is still unclear what motive is behind the harrowing act and whether the perpetrator knew the men killed. The criminal investigation department has already begun the interrogations. On Thursday, the suspect is to be brought before a magistrate.
