“Bomb cyclones” are sweeping across Northern Europe – with impacts on Germany. Atlantic depression “Margrit” (international “Ingunn”) brings gusts of up to 200 km/h and heavy snowfalls.

In Norway, many ferry services are suspended and some schools are closed. The storm is also making itself felt in Germany, but there is no major risk of severe weather, as was the case with the previous series of storms. It will be increasingly windy on the North Sea on Wednesday.
