The death of a 12-year-old boy, hit by a car a few weeks ago, led to the launch of a petition aimed at calling for the safety of pedestrians in Vitry. A first letter, sent to the mayor on January 6, remained “unanswered”, prompting them to publish a petition on February 26.

On March 15, they received a response from the city, which they considered “guilty” “There is no desire for recovery, all we ask for is dialogue,” sighs Anaïs Gour-Salvi, French professor at the origin of the petition.
