“Crying customers” after Edeka closure in Bad Tölz: Sales are now increasing in other stores. “I felt incredibly sorry for the older people, some of the regular customers stood here in the store and cried,” says branch manager Angela Hammel.
The Vinzenzmurr branch in the pedestrian zone has responded to the loss of the supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The “Biodelikat’s” market on Badstrasse has also recorded noticeably more sales since the closure.
