The Catholic Church reaffirms its opposition to sex change and surrogacy. In a declaration on “human dignity’, published this Monday, April 8 by the Vatican, fourteen burning ethical debates are scrutinized.

“Yes” to human dignity, very firm “no’ to gender theory, sex change, euthanasia and assisted suicide, surrogacy and abortion, the document says. The declaration does not contain any real new features because it takes up, depending on the themes, the teachings of Francis but also of Paul VI, John Paul II and Benedict XVI.
