The Women Without Borders association in Creil has been teaching French for 40 years. The association is fighting against illiteracy, precariousness and domestic violence.

To participate, you only need to pay an annual membership of 30 euros, but the most modest households are exempt. With only two employees and several volunteers, this associative pillar of the southern capital Oise is waging a fight on several fronts: against illiterate, job insecurity but also domestic violence, the group says. The French lessons are one of the flagship activities, and welcome everyone, with almost no conditions.
