The 35-year-old man suspected of having committed numerous rapes against sex workers in the Bois de Boulogne was arrested on March 30. He was placed in pre-trial detention and indicted on April 2 for rape aggravated by several circumstances, and attempted aggravated rape, committed between September 1, 2022 and March 25, 2024.
The suspect had already been implicated in another case. If he admits to having had paid relations with sex workers, he denies the facts with which he is accused. He is currently incarcerated at Fleury-Mérogis prison, in Essonne. For the moment, two victims have been officially identified: they are two transgender men who work in Boisde Boulogsne, in Hauts-de-Seine. According to information from franceinfo, the man had already be implicated in a case in which he was accused of raping a man who was a prostitute. He would have always acted with the same modus operandi: he attacked victims in the middle of the night, taking them by surprise.
