Soldier known as Adrien Barillon, whose real name was Séraphin Barrillon, was taken prisoner during the battle of August 8, 1914. Rehabilitated posthumously, the soldier was exhumed this Friday from the cemetery of the psychiatric hospital to join the military square of Évreux.

“By being so involved in this business, I feel like he’s part of my family,” says former photojournalist Yvan Barbieri.
