In it he announced that he would be withdrawing from the race for the US presidency. In fact, it was an April Fool's joke with which Trump wanted to solicit further donations for his presidential campaign. Trump, who may fire his lawyers to delay his trial, will face Democrat Biden in November's presidential election.
