[HIGHLIGHTS] “In memory of the 6 million victims”: in Lyon, the Shoah memorial will be made up of 1,173 meters of rails

The Lyon Shoah memorial will be made up of 1,173 meters of rails. The work entitled “The rails of memory” will be installed near Perrache station in Lyon in early 2025.

The memorial, financed by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (€150,000), the metropolis and the city of Lyon (€75,000 each) and many anonymous people, should be inaugurated January 27, 2025 for the international day dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
