Shoah by Claude Lanzmann will be rebroadcast in its entirety this Tuesday on France 2. The film-film of more than nine hours on testimonies of survivors of the Shoah is still discussed in courses on the period.
The length of the complete film, as well as its specificity, make it difficult to access for the younger generation. “I think that our generations have not seen it because it is that dated, that is not at all like the films that we are used to,” says Sandra Hüller.
