Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has commented positively on French President Emmanuel Macron's move to send ground troops to the Ukraine war. “The presence of NATO troops in Ukraine is not unthinkable,” he wrote on Friday evening on the X platform.

His position differs from that of the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who made it clear that Poland had no intention of sending its troops to Ukraine. Macron had previously stated after an international Ukraine support conference in Paris: “Today there is no consensus about officially sending ground troops”
