A 51-year-old man was taken into custody on Friday March 22 in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) for insulting the President of the French Republic and his wife. The posters included messages such as “Long live Putin” or “Macron fraudster’, indicates the Pau prosecutor’s office.
“We are awaiting the return of a psychiatric examination of the accused,” specifies Rodolphe Jarry, public prosecutor of Pau.
