Marie Patouillet is a double world champion in track cycling. The 35-year-old Frenchwoman took up cycling after being forced to stop running due to an orthopedic malformation in her foot and back.

She says she was told that if she didn't want to play a sexist sport, she had to play girls' sport. The Frenchwoman wants more inclusion for women in the cycling team of France at the Paris 2014 Olympics. She was the only woman in the French team at the Tokyo Games.
