Gagik Snjoyan, 22, is a French wrestler of Armenian origin. He was selected to compete in the -67 kg Greco-Roman category.
He postponed his trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, to be with his family. The French number 2 in his category, Mamadassa Sylla, replaced him in the tournament. The two countries have been in conflict for almost forty years. The TQO (Olympic Qualification Tournament) begins this Friday.
