Rivarl is a flagship publication of the French far right. In 2022, its publishing director, Jérôme Bourbon, was convicted of contesting a crime against humanity and provoking hatred towards Jews. The same year, the newspaper had its approval withdrawn by the CPPAP, a measure which eliminates tax advantages and reduced postal rates.
