Activists from a local action group began a hunger strike on April 11 to denounce an unjust local policy. The Spanish archipelago, located off the coast of Morocco, was one of the most visited regions of Spain in 2023.

The movement called for a broad mobilization, which began this Thursday at 5 p.m. in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
