[HIGHLIGHTS] “There are too many police officers, it’s becoming impossible”: the street vendors of Champ-de-Mars leaving?

The Champ-de-Mars is one of the 42 Olympic-certified sectors which are the subject of special attention from law enforcement as part of the Zero Delinquency plan. At the end of last year, the prefect of police, Laurent Nuñez, committed to ridding the site of street vendors, but also of bonneteau players and scammers with false petitions.

With more than 50,000 daily visitors, the Champ- de-Mars has more than half a million visitors a year.
