Some Dietramszellers do not want to accept a decision by the local council: They fear a safety gap in the sidewalk planning. The initiators of the “Obermühltal Walkway – School – Monastery Citizens’ Initiative” want to stick to a plan that was accepted by the council.

The path will now be built on the northern side of the street along Richterangerwiese up to the school building. This construction will also take a long time: Before that, the Weilheim State Building Authority must renew the stream bridge at the entrance to the town and complete the rain retention basin in the school parking lot. There's a catch: It wouldn't be enough to get to the monastery tavern. And between the school and the monastery there is no other option for pedestrians than the street. The goal: The council should repeal the decision and “work for more safety and accessibility in our community.” (Our Wolfratshausen-Geretsried newsletter regularly informs you about all important stories from your region)
