Seven orphaned pigs have been living in Saint-Maximin, Oise, since January. Tensions with the town hall and the prefecture and tenderness for these little mammals animated the situation.
While shootings during the day had been authorized by the Oise prefecture, some residents were moved to see a sow shot dead at the foot of buildings, in the middle of the afternoon, during school holidays, under the gaze of some children.
