The Administrative Retention Center (CRA) is scheduled to come into operation on February 1, 2024. Estimates predict between 1,500 and 1,800 referrals to be processed per year.
A demonstration bringing together nearly 200 people was organized in front of the CRA on January 20. “An administrative detention center is not the public facility that dreams are made of,” shares the mayor of Olivet, Matthieu Schlesinger, mayor of the town of 22,000 inhabitants.
