Lætitia grew up in Les Marronniers, a small town in the 14th arrondissement of Marseille, known for hosting deal points. In June 2023, this city was the scene of a Kalashnikov shooting: a group of young people were targeted, and two 17-year-old teenagers were injured, including a young girl hit in the leg.
Residents are torn by the increase in shootings throughout the city, including in rather quiet neighborhoods. LæTitia, active member of a collective created in memory of those killed, says: “We have been sounding the alarm for ten years”
