Emmanuel Macron has just left the Agricultural Show after a 13-hour visit to Porte de Versailles in Paris. Early in the morning, the arrival of the Head of State at the scene of the most popular demonstration in France led to violent clashes between angry farmers.

“This is the first time I saw a show with so many CRS inside,” says Caroline Le Poultier, general director of the National Interprofessional Center for the Dairy Economy, exhibiting on one of the largest stands at the event.
