“We opted for major work”: in Rambouillet, a battle plan against potholes. The “road plan” of the Yvelin commune is based on an unprecedented investment of 6 million euros.
Caused by traffic and weather conditions (freezing, thawing and precipitation), these holes in the roads are a major road safety issue for municipalities. As part of its ‘roads plan’ – and in support of an audit carried out in 2019 – the municipality of Rambuillet has decided to invest 6 million euro dedicated to the renovation of roads.
