'Chylka' is an interesting legal drama that unfolds with fluidity, professionalism and the inevitable predictability in works that are not masterpieces. Magdalena Cielecka plays a successful lawyer who takes great pleasure in crushing everyone who comes before him.

Chylka scrupulously complies with that rule so common in the series of Eastern European countries, formerly called communist: misery does not exist. Poland is an earthly paradise except for the occasional villainous character without whom the narrative would seem more like an interior design catalog than anything else.
