The novel by the Ecuadorian writer puts the virtues of poetry at the service of a narrative where the protagonists seek their transcendence in drugs, in the dance orgy, and in the Dionysian rapture.
In the novel there is a search for the connection with nature understood as a terrible mother body. The characters experience a psychedelic journey: the self is diluted in a collective body, identities metamorphose.
