10 warders arrested for beating 2 inmates at Foggia. Ten warders were arrested Monday on suspicion of beating two inmates.
The prison police officers on duty at the prison have been placed under house arrest. It is alleged that false documents were prepared and signed in order to conceal the violence carried out and to prevent the diagnosis of the injuries sustained by the inmates. Threats and promises of retaliation through which two suspects allegedly forced the victims to sign false declarations in which they gave a version of the facts that was contradicted.
