Aderrien's mother, Nakala Murry, filed a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court against the city of Indianola, the police chief and the officer accused of shooting her son. The complaint, which claims at least five million dollars, alleges that the city did not properly train the officer and that he used excessive force.
