Donald Trump won the South Carolina primary with 59.8% of the vote. His only opponent, Nikki Haley, received 39.5%.

Trump now has 107 delegates to win the Republican nomination. Haley believes she can win the nomination by March 12, but Trump's team is confident of a quick win in the next few days. The two adversaries will meet in Michigan, which will allocate 16 delegates during a primary starting this Tuesday, then 39 during a caucus five days later.
