Pechito López and his Toyota No. 7 abandon the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The car was rammed by another unit at the La Sarthe circuit. Lopez completed 38 laps in 2 hours, 57 minutes and 49 seconds on the French track. The #499 Ferrari 51P which held a comfortable lead of 47 seconds lost control at the first chicane of the Mulsanne straight and Nico Muller's #9 Peugeot 8X94 was in front ahead of Nicklas Nielsen.
