A 9-year-old girl was lightly to moderately injured by stray gunfire today (Friday) in the settlement of Kochav Ya'akov in Binyamin. IDF forces arrived at the scene and began searching, and the Home Front Command instructed the residents to enter the building, lock the doors and close the windows.
MDA staff provided medical treatment to the girl, who was injured in the shoulder, and evacuated her to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. According to a military source, it is unclear whether the shooting was deliberate.
