Six departments placed on orange alert for rain, wind and floods. A heavy episode of rain is expected in the south-eastern quarter of France.
Ardèche, Var and the Alpes-Maritimes are on orange rain-flood alert. The Loire and Haute-Loire are on wind orange vigilance. A large part of France has also been placed on yellow alert, particularly for floods. The southwest quarter is on yellow thunderstorm alert and part of the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts are on alert for wave-submersion.
