An 8-year-old girl escaped a kidnapping attempt in Michigan when her brother used a slingshot to beat the gunman. When he was caught, he was planning his revenge, police said.
The detainee, whose identity has not been disclosed, is 17 years old but will be tried as an adult. He was set on $150,000 bail and is due in court on May 17. The young man admitted that he planned to hit the boy hard in revenge for what happened.
