A 20-year-old man died this morning (Saturday) at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, after contracting an aggressive bacteria. The young man was rushed to the medical center suffering from symptoms of meningitis.
Despite efforts to stabilize his condition, the young man's body systems collapsed and the team had to determine his death. "A bacterium that spreads rapidly and severely attacks the body's systems" is "a relatively rare disease that is not common," a hospital spokeswoman said.
