A 70-year-old female driver was detained for questioning on suspicion of running over an elderly pedestrian in Jerusalem Israel today. The accident happened last night in the evening (Monday), in the area of Dania Square in the capital.
An elderly woman about 89 years old was found lying on the road, and a preliminary investigation in the Jerusalem district raised the suspicion that she was injured as a result of a traffic accident that occurred there. The preliminary findings of the investigation revealed that the driver hit the woman with the vehicle apparently accidentally, and after the impact she got out of the vehicle.
