Six months have passed since the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war on October 7. Data shows a 950% increase in inquiries about anxiety, trauma and loss compared to the corresponding six months last year.

As the war progressed, there has also been an increase in applications dealing with depression, mental distress and loneliness. A third of the inquiries dealt with anxiety and trauma. Every fifth call dealt with mental pain, depression and mental distress. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, over 3,500 calls with a very high level of distress were received.
