A 97-year-old man dies in a castle fire in Essonne. A large fire occurred at the Château de Chantambre, in Buno-Bonnevaux (Essonne), on the night of March 13 to 14.
Many firefighters from 91 converged on this historic building nestled in the forests of Gâtinais, from which smoke rose. Seven paintings and a statue were thus able to be sheltered. However, a large part of the roof was destroyed.
