A 9-year-old boy is found dead in a burning car near a school in New Jersey. His father is arrested on charges of arson.
Manuel Rivera, 43, is charged with second-degree aggravated arson. The mayor of Sayreville initially identified him as the child's father. He was a driver and cafeteria worker for the school district, according to local reports.. The boy's death "shook the community to its core," the mayor said in a statement. The case is under investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
