A businessman from Malaga who exported defense material to Saudi Arabia was arrested for smuggling. In an operation directed by the National Court, the Civil Guard considers the plot dismantled, which has recorded sales worth 2.8 million euros.

The operations were carried out without a license, so there was a possibility, according to the armed institute, that the war instruments could be used in the conflict in Yemen, in which Riyadh has been involved since 2015, and others in the Middle East. The operation, called Sabra, has prevented both new irregular exports without control by the Spanish authorities.
