Ike Nicholas Souzer, 20, was behind bars Friday for failing to inform his supervisor of his whereabouts and leaving the region following a case of vandalism. Souzer has a history of violence that occurred during his teenage years, including a conviction for voluntary manslaughter in the death of his mother, who was fatally stabbed when he was 13.
The prosecutor's office acknowledged that a family member indicated during his arraignment in juvenile court for murder that Souzer was autistic and had ahistory of outbursts.
